Sur la Heid

Situated at an altitude of 300, the hamlet of "Sur la Heid", located at the top of the Heid des Gattes nature reserve, overlooks the very beautiful deep valley of the Amblève protected by green hills.

This place exposed to the wind, however, enjoys an appreciable amount of sunshine which gives it a pleasant climate.

It was from this small village that Aywaille beer "l'Elfique" was born. Today it is brewed in Raborive.
